This course is an introduction to the biodynamic branch of Craniosacral therapy and a prerequisite to the longer Foundations course. Every day of class will include some lecture and discussion about the core principles of this modality as well as hands-on practice. This is a great way to dip your toes in and see if Biodynamic Craniosacral is a fit for you!

Biodynamic Craniosacral Foundations
In this deep dive, we explore a wide array of perceptual skills, anatomy and physiology from the embryo on through adulthood and how to cultivate a slowness of tempo and quality of presence that creates the kind of space needed for powerful restoration and recovery. At a pace that allows integration and time for practice, we learn to open our senses to the subtlest degree while strengthening our ability to stay grounded and present.
On the scientific side, we learn about embryology, anatomy and physiology, neuroscience and psychology and much more through readings, videos and lectures. One of the unique aspects to this training is how we take these learnings into the body, blending our intellectual pursuit with a felt sense orientation toward educating ourselves about the human body. We do meditations and bodywork practices to dimensionalize and embody what we learn with our minds.
To train in Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy is a journey into a deeper sense of one’s own sense of resiliency and embodiment that results in a remarkable capacity for accompanying and facilitating the healing process of others.
